The Day Before The Surgery

I flew out this morning for San Francisco. I have several amazing friends who are taking care of the boys, while I am away. My mom, dad, and Kelli picked me up from the airport, and we headed out to Fisherman’s Warf for clam chowder and sourdough bread. It was a gorgeous day! It was supposed to rain all day, but cleared up perfectly! After lunch, we walked the streets of San Fran over to Ghiradellis for some yummy icecream. My grandparents met us at the hotel in Oakland. We spent the evening together, laughing, crying, sharing thoughts and feelings about the surgery tomorrow. It was a good day.

Kelli will check in at the hospital at 6 A.M. in the morning, her surgery is supposed to start at 8:00. The surgery could be 6-10 hours long. There are still many unanswered questions. We are hoping to have these answered soon.

Please pray for the doctor, that he’ll be able to to completely cut out all of the cancer. Please pray for Kelli, that she will recover quickly from this surgery. Pray for peace of mind for our family.
