Rebecca Avila is one of my best friends in the whole world. We went to college together. We were roommates. We have been through happy times and sad times together. I am so blessed to have a friend like her in my life. We even had our sons, Cyrus and Jackson, 6 days apart. We planned it that way, to the best of our abilities! 🙂 Nothing like best friends having their babies so close together. It’s been really fun to watch the two of them grow up, they love to play and fight, and chase, and pester, and hug, and hit. Major entertainment, especially at 2 years old! They even get in trouble in the nursery at church for being too rough to each other.

When Becca found out she was having a baby girl, I was SO excited. I couldn’t wait for this little girl to get here. I had the honor of getting to spend the night one of the night’s at the hospital with Becca, to help her with the baby, so Jake could get some rest.  I was super excited to be a part of helping Becca with Alivia, when she was born. Last week, I got to take some newborn pics of baby Alivia! Becca and I had all of these great ideas of newborn sleeping pics, but Alivia just didn’t want to go to sleep! I wonder where she gets that from Bec? 🙂 So I had to revamp ideas for the photos, but was pleasantly surprised with the shots that I got! Nothing better than the sweet innocence of a newborn baby. I’m SO happy with how they turned out!
